Tons of yoga studios around you charge a large amount in the name of yoga training. They have made yoga a business and offer just comfortable and luxurious living. It is opposite to the yogic principles.

You need to stop living a luxurious life and should not be dependent on modern amenities. We follow the yogic lifestyle. Don’t consider this course free tuition, it’s our gift to the world. It is a gift for humanity and yoga practitioners who can’t afford thousands of dollars to spend on yoga teacher training.

Moreover, we use additional tools and platforms to offer our yoga courses to larger audiences. We need to pay a fixed amount monthly or yearly in order to serve the yoga community. There is also a team to help you. We are only charging the booking amount of $299 to cover all our expenses. This small amount helps us to make your yoga journey more accessible and transformative. There are no additional charges for the course and this booking amount also ensures your seat for the training. We only accept limited students for our yoga training to provide one-to-one interaction. We also accept donations from students to provide yoga education to those who are in need.

On Arrival

Our ashram vehicle brings you from the Dehradun Airport for free. After arrival, the first thing you can do is take a refreshment; take some fruits/snacks/tea, and complete your registration. It will only take a few minutes. Afterward, you are able to check into your room, take a shower and rest, and get ready to explore Rishikesh and meet all of your friends and fellow classmates.

Kundalini Yoga

We offer one Kundalini yoga lesson to our students so that they are able to understand what it is and how it works. Kundalini yoga has been very popular and beneficial for our healthy and harmony. It helps to balance our chakras and awake the Kundalini Shakti. It removes the veil of ignorance and clean the karmic sanskaras.

Hatha Yoga

The 300-Hour Yoga TCC Intermediate and advance level traditional hatha yoga practices are very special. In the beginning we will teach the basics so that your body will be ready for upper level. And once you continue to hold the posture longer time and once you move with a rhythm you find almost a dance. Many of the classical postures are same in the name but there are different levels of practice in each asana. Our teachers help you to perform with accurate alignment.

How your day looks like

Daily Schedule

The daily schedule for a yoga teacher training program in Rishikesh might begin as early as 5.30 to 6 in the morning and finish by 8 to 10 in the evening. You are kept occupied the entire day with challenging yoga sessions under the direction of yoga experts, theoretical lessons to complement it, and other such activities. Thus, getting into shape, adopting a good diet, and reading blogs on yoga training experiences all help one psychologically prepare before the program starts.

Accommodation

When you enroll in this course, your housing needs are taken care of in addition to the course schedule, allowing you to concentrate more on the 300 Hour YTTC. So be sure to choose a special course bundle to get the most out of the 200-hour yoga teacher training program. If you want a private room, then you will have to pay $250 for the private accommodation.

Only those students who enroll in the yoga course are given accommodations by Vinyasa Yoga Academy. Therefore, friends and family are not eligible for housing; however, they can still stay on campus by renting a different room. The student must show up for all of the Vinyasa Yoga Academy's planned events.

Food

It is common knowledge that food is a vital component and the source of life's energy for the human body. Our physical and emotional health is impacted by the type and quality of the food we eat. When nutrition is discussed from a yogic viewpoint, it encompasses much more than just the food's nutritional value. Since a full-fledged yoga practice necessitates the body's adequate nutritional augmentation, the energetic component of nutrition must also be taken into account while deciding on your diet.

Good news for yogis: Sattvic cuisine is completely vegetarian. As such meals don't include any animal components, and no animals are harmed in their production. Natural farming practices and the absence of any hazardous additives, preservatives, or tastes are required for these goods.

A 300-hour yoga teacher training offers a more in-depth study of all yoga, from asanas to meditation, philosophy, alignment, anatomy, and everything in between. And that's precisely why this course is sometimes referred to as Advanced Yoga Teacher Training.

Yes, Yoga Alliance permits yoga participants who are already familiar with yoga to enroll in the 300-hour yoga teacher training course without first completing the 200-hour yoga teacher training certification. However, 200-hour yoga for beginners is recommended to become a certified yoga teacher.

An RYS 300-hour advanced course trains its trainees to teach more advanced, thorough yoga principles and practices. You will be a qualified yoga instructor after completing this yoga course.

A 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course allows you to learn more about yoga philosophy, anatomy, mantra chanting, asanas, pranayama, alignments & adjustments, modifications, meditation, and other advanced practices from our certified yoga instructors.

You will earn your teaching credential after completing one of our 200 or 300-hour training. This qualifies you as a Certified Yoga Instructor (CYT). After that, you may submit your certificate to the Yoga Alliance to become a Registered Yoga Teacher at your level (RYT 200 or RYT 500).

Before you can finish your 300 hours, you must first complete a 200-hour teacher training course. A 300-hour yoga teacher training is more intensive and is stretched out.

You can learn any form of yoga. However, you can select between Ashtanga, Hatha, Kundalini, and other forms of yoga to be a yoga teacher.

All classes are mandatory. Only in the case of an emergency or illness can one take leave with a respected teacher’s permission. Uninformed leaves won’t be accepted and will affect students’ monthly performance.

Prerequisites

  • Be self-motivated and self-disciplined to fully enjoy the course 
  • Before you join, prepare your body and mind for this big journey. 
  • It is mandatory to attend all of the classes and activities 
  • Do not harass or harm any other students. 
  • Misconduct and misbehavior will not be allowed or tolerated.

Principles And Guidelines

  • We are a traditional and authentic Vinyasa Yoga school in Rishikesh. 
  • Class starts in the early morning and goes until evening. There will be a short break during and after each meal. 
  • Respect everyone inside and outside the campus. 
  • There is no refund of the course after you join. Advance deposit is also non-refundable but it can be used during another month if you need to change the time of your course. 
  • If you skip any meal please inform the reception at least 3 hours before. 
  • Non vegetarian food, smoking, and drinking alcohol are not allowed on the Vinyasa Yoga Academy premises.

General Rules

  • Modest dressing is mandatory on the premises. 
  • Silence should be maintained after 8 pm. 
  • Regular homework should be completed. 
  • All classes are mandatory to attend. 
  • Bring one pair of white clothes for the welcome Ceremony 
  • As a part of the evaluation procedure, there will be a final exam, both theoretical and practical. 
  • Vinyasa Yoga Academy reserves the right to disqualify any students at any time during the TTC for misconduct or breaking the rules. 
  • Pets are not allowed to be kept in rooms.

Life changing experience! I have traveled the world over my 58 years on this earth and never experienced this deep, thought provoking guidance. I just wanted to improve my yoga practice. I came knowing NOTHING but I wanted to do correct poses. As I stated, I am 58 years young and only tried yoga a year ago with DVDs and you tube. I recommend this specific school because their is something amazing going on here up in the lush beautiful green hills of Rishikesh, India. Your mind is the only thing holding you back.
