We are located in Tapovan, Laxmanjhula, in a very peaceful corner of Rishikesh, situated between the Himalik Mountains. It is free from excessive noise and traffic allowing you to find peace, which will be conducive for your Yoga studies. The Ganga River is just a few minutes away. You are welcome to go regularly to talk with mother Ganga and play with her waters in your free time. Beautiful waterfalls like Neer waterfall, Patna waterfall and many other small waterfalls are around Vinyasa Yoga Academy. Some are very close, just behind upper Tapovan, and you can reach them in just 5 to 10 minutes while some of the others are up to 5 km away.

The mountains around us are called the Himalik mountains and there are many places where you can hike. From our Yoga school, there is a large 3-4 hour hike with a trail starting at Kunjapuri Temple. While trekking you will find beautiful streams, mountains, jungle, wild animals, birds and of course the touch of the Air from the Himalayan glaciers. From Kunjapuri Temple you will see the whole range of Himalayas covered with dense snow and ice if weather permits.

Rishikesh is heaven for any lover of adventure. You can go white water rafting, biking, mountain climbing, bungee jumping, camping, on wildlife safaris and more. You can do these activities on your free day on Sunday.

Each day from Monday to Saturday, we have different Yoga classes running from Mon- Sat At 3:30 to 4:30 PM IST. In case you have any doubts regarding your upcoming program, you may ask our Master/Guruji any questions on Thursdays.

Delhi airport: By taxi - cost $80. Trains and busses are available with low cost but may not be easy or comfortable. 

Dehradun airport: Free taxi from the ashram. Delhi to Dehradun airport is just one hour of air travel. Send us your flight details and our driver will be waiting for you when you arrive. In case you have any trouble, call us for immediate assistance before or while travelling to our Yoga school. 

From Rishikesh & Haridwar Railway station: auto rickshaw is available there and you can book them to come here as well. We are not able to send any cars, but if you are nearby, we can send someone with a motorbike to bring you to the school.

Vinyasa Yoga Academy has its own campus that you will be accommodated on. You can choose room sharing or a single room according to your own comfort level. You will need to pay the extra cost for a single room. Air-conditioned and Heater: As electricity cost is very high in India, there will be an extra charge for a room with an AC and heater.

We serve our students 3 vegetarian meals daily. Different varieties of healthy breakfast will be available when you come after morning Yoga. We provide a healthy lunch with rice, dal, green vegetables, salad, pickle, papad and so on. In the evening we prepare a light meal with chapati, sabji, pasta and seasonal vegetables. Vegan meals may be prepared upon request by students.

Tea is served at breakfast and one can prepare their own tea at any time in the tea palace.
