The Process
Enquire
Fill in the enquiry form above or reach us directly at contact@vinyasayogaacademy.com or +62-8132881810. Tell us your preferred dates, group size, retreat type, and any specific needs.
Receive a Custom Proposal
Within 48 hours, we will send you a customised proposal covering accommodation options, pricing, available shalas, and any add-on services. Everything is built around what you actually need.
Confirm and Deposit
A 30% deposit secures your dates. We then work with you on the schedule, menus, room allocation, and any special requests. Your group will be the only retreat on campus during your stay.
Arrive and Teach
You and your group arrive. We handle everything on the ground. You teach, they learn, we manage.
What Sets Us Apart
When you book your retreat with us, the campus is yours. No other retreats, no hotel guests, no shared spaces with unrelated groups. Your participants have the shalas, gardens, and communal areas to themselves from the first morning to the final session.
Rice terraces, tropical birdsong, ancient temples nearby, and the spiritual energy of an island that has drawn seekers for generations. You do not need to warm up an atmosphere here. Your group arrives already softened at our campus location.
We have been hosting international retreat groups for over a decade across Rishikesh and Bali, supporting teachers from more than 100 countries. Our expert team anticipates needs, resolves issues quickly, and has built systems so your retreat runs without you carrying the operational load.
You lead and teach, we operationalise and support. Whether you want full independence or would like to draw on any of our E-RYT faculty for sessions, we work entirely around your schedule and teaching style. Nothing is imposed; everything is available.
Your Gateway to Bali
Our campus sits in the cultural and spiritual heart of Bali, Ubud. Surrounded by lush tropical forest and rice terraces, the VYA Bali campus is quiet, forested, and deliberately set away from the town’s busiest areas.
Sacred water temples, jungle waterfalls, and Balinese cultural experiences are all within easy reach when your group is ready to explore.

Bring your community to Ubud, Bali — and let us handle everything on the ground while you focus on teaching.

Common Questions
We comfortably host groups from 6 to 40 participants. Smaller groups of fewer than 6 are considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on dates and room availability. For groups over 40, please contact us directly to discuss what is possible with the space we have.
You are completely welcome to bring your own teachers. Our faculty is available to supplement your schedule if you want additional sessions in pranayama, Ayurveda, sound healing, or other areas, but that is entirely optional and at your request.
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your dates. The deposit is non-refundable if the retreat is cancelled. Rescheduling is possible, and we can transfer the deposit to new dates, provided you give us at least 60 days’ notice and the new dates are available. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your retreat begins. For bespoke arrangements or large groups, we will detail the specific terms in your proposal.
Yes. When your group is here, the campus is yours. We do not mix retreat groups or allow general accommodation guests during your dates. Your participants have the shalas, the communal spaces, and the grounds entirely to themselves.
Yes, you can. While we specialise in Sattvic vegetarian cuisine, our chefs can prepare customised meals for vegan, gluten-free, or specific allergy requirements at no extra cost.
Yes, and fully. The retreat content is entirely yours. You provide the daily schedule you want to run, and we build the logistics around it. If you would like suggestions for sequencing the day or ideas for integrating local experiences, our team is happy to advise.
We typically require a 3-night minimum for retreat hosting, though most successful immersions choose 5, 7, or 14-day formats. The duration of your retreat is fixed by your end; we only provide suggestions to make your attendees’ journey worth remembering.
For the best choice of dates and room configurations, we recommend booking at least 3 to 6 months in advance. Peak season in Bali runs from March to June and from October to December. These months fill up earliest. If you have a specific date in mind, reach out to us. We will check availability and get back to you immediately.
Our Shalas are fully stocked with high-quality mats, bolsters, blocks, straps, and meditation cushions. Your students only need to bring themselves and the things finalised by you.
Yes. Our campus is equipped for all kinds of modalities and any kind of retreats, whether it’s yoga or ayurveda, silent, wellness or environmental. We can arrange for our staff to create a Noble Silence environment for your group during your silent retreat.
Yes, on request. We can advertise your retreat to a worldwide audience of yoga practitioners and teachers through our website and social media channels. We can also assist with logistics for your own promotional materials, i.e., photos of the campus, location details, and facility descriptions.
That’s great! If you want traditional Indian ceremonies to be part of your retreat, we can arrange traditional Fire Ceremonies (Havan), Kirtan sessions with local musicians or guided trips to the sacred temples to bring a touch of authentic devotion to your Indian-style retreat.
Pricing depends on group size, accommodation type, session requirements, and time of year. Rates vary for custom proposals, including additional faculty sessions, Ayurvedic treatments, or curated excursions. We’ll give you a clear, itemised breakdown in your custom proposal without any hidden elements.
We are a dedicated Yoga Alliance-accredited school, not a tourist or holiday resort. This means our Shalas, staff, and community vibration are all aligned with serious spiritual practice rather than just fun, holiday hospitality.
